Just For Kids Child Development Center, a locally owned childcare center with over
25 years of experience in providing quality childcare services, is currently accepting enrollments of children from the ages of 6 weeks up to 12 years.
Please refer to our rate schedules and rules listed below or give us a call at 228-388-5558 if you have any questions or want to schedule your FREE tour of our facilities.
Just For Kids Child Development Center charges a $40.00 non-refundable registration fee for one child and a $35.00 fee for each additional child. This fee is paid initially and remains in effect until the child is withdrawn from the center. Upon re-enrollment, the fee must be paid again. Our week runs Monday through Friday with rates based on full-time enrollment (up to 50 hours), as follows:
• $120.00 for one child full-time
• $230.00 for two children full-time
• $115.00 for each additional child full-time
An overtime rate of $2.00 per child per hour will be charged for hours exceeding the weekly schedule. Unused hours from each week cannot be carried over to the next week and there is no refund for prepaid fees or tuition. If your child does not attend for a week, you will be charged half the rate for that week. A 2-week notice is required if you decide to terminate childcare at our facility.
In an effort to enforce our closing time of 6:00 PM, you will be charged $1.00 per minute per child after 6:00 PM. We understand that situations may arise, so please notify the center if you anticipate being late to pick up your child.
Fees are due on the first day of attendance of the week. Any payment made after Wednesday will incur a $10.00 late fee per day. In addition, any payment not made for the previous week will result in termination of childcare services to your children enrolled in this center.
We accept the MS Childcare Certificate Program. Co-payment fees are due by the 10th of each month and any payment made after the 10th will incur a $10.00 late fee. We report all non-payment fees to the District.
Checks are accepted but if a check is returned for insufficient funds, a $30.00 returned check fee will be added. We reserve the right to report any unpaid fees to credit agencies and to other interested parties.
We charge $55.00 per week for one child (at 20 hours per week) and $100.00 a week for 2 children. Payment is due at the beginning of each week. If your child does not attend for the week, you will be charged half the rate for that week. There is a charge of $3.00 per hour for any additional hours over 20 hours in a week. Parents will be notified the following week for any overtime incurred. Our rates are subject to change, however, notice will be given to parents in advance.
Please clock your child in and out daily so that we may keep a record of your child's attendance. We must ID anyone on your child's pick-up list who may pick up your child for that day. Any changes that need to be made to a child's file must be done in person by the parents. We require all picture IDs from anyone picking up a child who is unknown to us.
It is very important that your child is ready to begin his or her day upon arrival. Please make sure that your child is bathed, dressed, and fed. Shoes are a must.
We are currently on the USDA Food Program. All parents are required to fill out a lunch form. However, if you wish not to include your household income, only a signature will be required. A weekly menu is posted on the bulletin board at the front entrance. Children not present during scheduled meal times should be fed prior to arrival. A current meal serving schedule is posted in the lobby.
Health Department regulations prohibit parents from bringing meals or snacks into the center since all meals must meet strict nutritional guidelines. Parents should send food for children with special dietary needs (infants, diabetics, children with special allergies, etc.).
The center will occasionally have special event parties (holidays, birthdays, etc.) and we ask all parents to participate. In addition, if your child has an allergy to milk or certain foods, a doctor's note must be maintained and placed in the child's file. It is very difficult to assume that a child has an allergy just because the parent says so.
